Legal awareness

The real freedom comes to women when they could stand on their own legs financially.Though the women group are working from down to dust they have no financial freedom. For petty things they are depending on the men financially.

So to make financially sound we constitute 10 self help groups in villages with the enrollment of 120 member. Training camps were conducted at head quarter in the year. They were taught financial linkage, bank dealings, marketing of goods, individual and group production activities. They were trained in embroidery works, Agarbathi Making, Dress making, Photo Lamination and preparation of Prickles etc. We have helped them in the marketing of their commodities also. The best self help group leaders were sent to the district training centre to improve their skills. This programme in really to advantage to women Group.

Padnaty awareness program

A Women are not lagging behind in any field nowadays. Apurva is far ahead in this by providing Risha driving training to needy women. Many women has enthusiastically took part and successfully completed their training and now they are earning their hard money.

Many batches of ladies riksha drivers has been out from Apurva thanking for the encouragement and proper training.

Nai Roshani Programe

Ladies from minority section often face many problems realted to their education, health awarenss, family and cultural issues. Apurva has always provided a helping hand to thoes who doesn't have support. Nai Roshani Program has started in 2018 by Apurva. This project is funded by centeral government Minority affairs and run by Apurva for the welfare of minority women. Many women have benefited from this.

Professionals from the specialised fields impart training to make them skillful and professionals.

Night Shelter Project TMC -Shelter Home

Organization awarded Night shelter project by Thane Muncipal corporation as a maintenance organization to provide services migrant population in the jurisdiction of Thane area. Last one year organistion maintaining four night shelter. Under this project organization provided 1000 people night shelter facility.

Save Girls Child Abhiyan

In our country the girl child is a victim of gender discrimination and female foeticide is one of the gravest concerns facing society. Apurva has launched an extensive campaign to create social awareness about evils of discrimination against the girl child and to bring about a positive change.

This project is an initiative to save girl children through mass awareness campaign against sex discrimination in Thane district. At present the sex ratio is 947:1000. Maximum ultrasound clinics are involved in the bad practice of sex identification and earning money. The situation is very serious. Through this project Apurva will motivate the couples, health providers, general public to understand the long term effect of the issue on our society.
