Generic Medical Distribution Centre

Medical science has been a boon to us as it provides medical help for almost every disease. But, when it comes to poor people in society, for them due to low income they are not able to afford the cost of medicine and are thus deprived of the available facilities. To cater to the need of poor people Apura has taken the initiative to start a Generic Medical distribution center in Thane. This has proved a very helpful hand for the poor and needy to buy medicines at very low prices.

Community health decides the strength of a country. Apurva is contributing to strengthening the medical system of the country.

Health check up camps

The check-up of the child was done by the doctors who suggested various tests for the child after the medicine was provided to the children. The field workers of the Apurva visit villages for information generation on child health and provide mother and child care regularly through this programme.

The topics covered by field workers under this programme are Nutrition, Health and Hygiene, Reproductive care, Child care, Exercise, Yoga, Promotion of Institutional Delivery, and Family planning method.
